unknown negative reactions to MMR booster

My wife was a RN in the critical care unit of a local hospital. Approximately seven years ago she was told that she needed to have a MMR booster becuase her birthdate fell between a certain guideline. She was given no information and nothing to sign for consent. She merely rolled up her sleeve and received the booster shot. Exactly three days later she fell ill and was hospitalized herself. She had a very high fever and was diagnosised with viral meningitis.

Since that time she has never been well. She went from running 5 to 10 miles several times a week to now being bed ridden most of the time. She used to work three jobs (two volunteer) and now is disabled. She continues to spiral downward with her health. She gets as many as thirty blister type erruptions on her hands and feet, these always culture staph. She has had staph on her heart valve and also seven infections while breast feeding six years ago. She is being blanketed with a fibro myalgia. She has gotten upto forty blisters spanning from the rear hip all the way around to her pubic bone recently and they too only culture staph. She always runs a 100.1 temp. This has not changed in seven years.

We live in a town of about 80k people and the medical community is very close knit. She has been seen at to large hospitals and one is a cutting edge Univerity medical center. Still nobody can pinpoint what is wrong with her. We do know that at least 1 and possibly 4 other people got sick from the same MMR lot but nobody is willing to stick their medical livelihoods where it needs to be.

Does anyone else have any suggestions or similar problems? We are at wits end and need advise or diagnois.

Thank you

this sounds like a classic vaccine reaction to me...

at least the type that many dogs get from similar vaccines. Which means.........no mainstream medical profession will know if it is a side effect, and many wouldn't even entertain the thought -- they ain't too good at thinking outside of the box.

I have a dog with vaccine-induced disease (fibromyalgia being one symptom), and have read quite a bit about this. In the Merck home book that my mom has, you can find these things documented as being caused by vaccination, it's hidden, often only one word, and not given much attention, and hard to find.

Hi, Mike.

Unknown? I think not!

In MY opinion the medical profession is responsible for her condition and should at least pay for it. You both would agree that the money is the least part of what this has cost you both.

It IS possible that she could get over this by practicing serious wellness. See the golssary and then the archives and then the home page for a free protocol.

See LisaT's note! Vets know.

Let us know what she learns and how she does. At the very least she would show great improvement in about a year.

Walt
