twin gods of the hunt

Posted by Jim H [2733.2562] on September 18, 2006 at 07:56:54:

The poet commiserates with the scientist. The view and
understanding of any searcher (and re-searcher) is limited by the
promontory of the biological/chemical sensing mechanism of one’s
body and mind; the well-known idea that the observer skews the
observed.

All seekers are beholding to, even dependent on, the grace of the
trans-matter twins, intuition and inspiration, which make humility,
humor and a child-like nature an advantage in the hunt.

Good hunting, all!

ummm... I think if you are hunting for truth, don't try to rush it, and let the truth come to you. An Untrue truth, isn't true. If it doesn't fit, you must acquit and disreguard. I think the truth Does set you free, and you don't have to ponder the question anymore, and can move on and enjoy the experience of life and living.

OK, I'll give you the context. These words are from a correspondence
I am carrying on with a microbiologist about using phages (a virus) to
treat bacterial infection. Another topic is the research of Bonnie
Bassler of Princeton, who has discovered that bacteria communicate
with a chemical language. This too may one day have an antibacterial
application.

The research is central to this knowledge, but the limitations and
flaws of research (and of intellect) are downplayed, just as the
conclusions are manipulated, and greed is so often the culprit.

I have no idea why I sit around and think about this kind of stuff, that
makes you want to call yourself a "dump" folk.

Jim,

There are always 2 end to the spectrem. Yin & Yang. You are at one end and I am at the other end. You MUST sit around and think of these far out thing because I never will. See how life goes? Even when I proof read my post, their still mistakes :) Nothing wrong with either end.

Silver Fox!

P.S. Back to your think tank.
