Jim Hare's book: "Mister Hare"

To all:

I finally finished Jim's book "Mister Hare" which I have been rationing myself on. It is made up of 1-2 page vignettes of his experiences as a grade school teacher. I have been using one of these vignettes when I felt I needed a pick me up and I finally ran out of them last night.

That was when I realized that the whole book was a lesson for life. Jim is an incorrigible teacher who just cannot help himself, in my opinion.

I recommend his book as a healing force in our world.

I'm through the first 7-8 chapters. It's a very light and witty read so far! I was particularly struck by the part about stripping a classroom of all of its contents at the end of school year, and consigning everything that happened to the past. I can imagine why that would be sad and haunting. I read quite a lot of mentally challenging books, so this is a very refreshing and fun change. Thanks Jim.

where can this book be obtained? I thought after my daughter and I read it we might share it with my niece that teaches kindergarten.
