Kerotoderma

Hello Dr Stoll

I am a sixty year old women. For 10 years I have suffered from a condition called Kerotoderma. On both my feet I have very severe cracks on the skin of my soles and heels. These cracks are often very deep and bleed. The skin is white and very dry and flaky. The condition is sometimes less severe and at other times very severe so that there is bleeding and constant pain.

I have tried varoius treatments from creams onwards. None of these work and I am disillusioned with such methods. I came across your interesting site and thought I would try to get your opinion on this disease I have? I believe it is very rare?

Thank you for your time.

Gina

Hi, Gina.

First, it is not very rare. I have seen at least a dozen in my career.

Anyhow, anyone who thinks they can resolve this by something they put on it is not aware of what actually causes it. The problem is coming from inside and the resolution will be from inside as well. This is a genetic need for more essential oils than the average person.

Go to the homepage and use the essential oils you see there.

It will take about 3 months to get the maximun results you can get from this. Let us know how you are doing then. Next, for immediate results (that will work as long as you do it), go to your pharmacist and ask him for about 2 ounces of Anhydrous Lanolin (cheap).

After your bath, while your feet are as dry as you can towel them (but no dryer) take a tiny bit and rub it in well to your feet. Then do it one other time of the day. This will take you a while to apply and you will always put too much on at first. It takes only a tiny bit & is very inexpensive. This will help a lot until the essential oils start to work. You may have to wear socks while you are using the lanolin because they will hold the excess on your foot instead of on your carpeting.

Walt
