My Mom has been noticing tiny bubbles in the toilet when she urinates. EVERY TIME lately.
She was treated with antiboitics for a urinary tract infection about two months ago.
Any input as to what could be causing this?
She is experiencing no pain or burning, just the bubbles in the bowl.
Thanks in advance
Christina

I have experienced the exact same thing for the past 3 years. NO none seems to have any advice or opinion on this, they just say oh it's probably nothing. Well, I know my body and it is not normal. I have also been battling a parastic infection which I have always felt was related. The foam always gets worse just before the intestinal symtoms flare up. Does she have any other symptoms?

Hi, Christina.
Have the urine checked for protein. There are strips at the drugstore that will do that if she doesn't want to take a specimen to the doc and pay the doc to do it.
Let us know what she learns.

Hi Doc, What would protein in the urnine indicate?
Thanks, Dahlimama

Well, she has plenty of other things going on which we are TRYING to get resolved. Severe depression, which I believe brought on all of her overall weakness, aches and pains, and major weight loss (she is now a whopping 96 lbs and stands 5'2").
I have a feeling she has a liver problem even though her enzymes are within normal range due to the yellow, and sometimes grayish color of her stools. Her Dr. says the color is due to the removal of her gallbladder 8 years ago, and diet (bs).
Allopathic Medical Drs have tried to put her on anti-depressants and anti-anxiety meds which only make her feel WORSE. We know the bandaid treatment is NEVER a real cure.
I could go on and on. I am VERY worried, and ALMOST have her talked into seeing a Naturopath just to get a DIFFERENT view on what is going on.
Sorry to get so off track here but, I am watching my once very vibrant Mother look like death warmed over!
I wanted to say that I found some rather interesting answers on the above problem when I typed in "bubbles in urine" on the Google search engine. There are a few reasons this may be happening.
Thanks for responding, and I'll let you know the prognosis....if we get one?

Hi, Dahlimama.
It could mean anything from contamination with vaginal discharge to severe kidney disease.
A strongly positive reaction by test strip would indicate a need for a definitive diagnosis from a professional.
