Kinesiologist frequency

Posted by Vicky on September 03, 1999 at 06:23:35:

Dr. Weil's opinion about Kinesiologist is that they milk the patient for money by having them come for treatment more than necessary. What is your opinion of how many visits to the Kinesilogist you make to organize the nervous system and what results should I as a patient be looking for. The Kinesiologist uses a machine that scans the spine to see what it looks like after each 12 visits.

Thanks

Dear Vicky,

I see a kinesiologist every two months by choice. They have never used a machine to scan my spine. My health has improved steadily since I started going about a year ago. I no longer have daily headaches, Gerd, or digestive problems. I was on B-vitamin suppliments and a digestive enzyme for three months. My kinesiologist says once every six months would probably work for me, but it's my choice. I consider this option as money well spent (much cheaper than buying antacids and pain relievers all the time).

Hi, Vicky.

Dr Weil is throwing out the baby with the bathwater. There are charlatans in EVERY field. That is NOT to say that every field is invalid. Dr Weil should know better.

Listen to JC. What you are describing here sounds invalid to me.

Applied Kinesiology IS valid for diagnosis and for following the progress of someone regaining their health. I have seen it work and know that there are people who think they can do it but cannot.

You would have to talk to people who have worked with any practitioner to see how well they did. You cannot let the practitioner choose the people since most will choose their best results. For confidentiality purposes, you need to choose from a list of patients at random and the practitioner needs to contact them to see if they are willing to talk to you. If they are, the practitioner then gives them YOUR number and they have to call you.

JC's experience sounds about right to me.

I agree with Walt that what you described does not sound authentic. I have a marvelous kinesiologist and go every two weeks but every week would probably be better and even
once a month is good. My back is stiff (I'm a senior) and
I have a reverse curvature which used to be much worse 10 years ago. Over the years I have had several different kinesiologists and all were good but now is the best. He is helping
with nutritional advice too. Muscle testing is really a
miraculous method. He tests a number of places on my
spine and works each point until the muscle tests strong
again. He doesn't use a machine. I do exercises to help
every day. Martha
