Did a lot of heavy lifting and carrying and runing
around and fell asleep on the sofa and woke with a
hound laying against my legs. Seems that I remember
at least one other time that I woke with knee pain
that I had a hound as a companion. It is
uncomfortable since I can't move and I make her get
off so I can move. Wondering how much the awkward
sleeping position contributes to the pain. This
time it is very minor and may not get bad and other
times it was gone in a few days and weeks pass
before the next occurance. Better take the supps
that help just in case.

HI Vince-It just could not be anything to do with those chocolate binges-ha!
Actually i find that when the joints keep locking up easy or are week that cutting back off the wheat and sugar is the key;
Thank goodness you know a lot of things to do???
Happy New Year to You!

TL, Haven't had much chocolate in a while though I
do snack on choc coated wafer bars but the coating
is Very light.
I was just reading Mercola's newsletter and it
mentioned wheat problems. That would be hard to
avoid. I am on a pasta kick now. Cornered the
market on Canned pastas and I'm Italian !!! The
sauce could be better so I Dr it. I used to hate
them but for some reason I am eating these and the
hounds like them. Might be that they are quick and
easy.
What would wheat do to my joints and Why only
one ? I like bread with every meal also. Maybe
Italians Need wheat so do the pasta thing.(G) I
don't eat it that often but when I do I Do.
Knee didn't get bad and haven's taken the supps or
wrapped it and the hound was laying with me Again !!
I got the male so she could cuddle with him. Guess
he is her 2nd choice or my backup. Can't even put
my feet on the floor or I step on her.

I have always been interested in DMSO but the
warnings and breath problems always stoped me from
trying it but then I never felt that I had anything
it would help. The MSM I have used is said to be
made from DMSO or similar to it. So far my knee
problems have been curable though I don't like to
have them come back even months later. This is the
3rd different one in 15 yrs. Luckily they don't last
long or are treatable for months at a time even
without treating it.

Try the DMSO-good idea! Do me another favor if you want to just try something; Go on MIllet Bread from health food store and stay off the wheat for 10 days and see, especially if the DMSO does not work or if it comes back again and again; Drinking plenty of water is also very good; Italian, well put some garlic on the millet bread-ha!

I think I can deal with the pains better than water
and garlic hasn't agreed with me. Maybe I can rub
it on my knee.) I don't know how I could avoid
wheat since I don't feel satified or full unless I
have it. I have tried just because I didn't feel
like geting it or wanted to cut calories and I
didn't feel good. I think bread does something good
in my stomach like maybe buffers other things I eat
that may not digest easily or something.

Bread Millet Bread, Try it you might like it!Remember a cleansing happens when you pull off of foods that we are sensitive to, it is called a healing crisis or a detoxing process. You might not feel good from 5-10 days until it gets out of the body completly; Craving something does not always mean it is good for us, or that it is the best for us. Usually when one is getting off and notice's a change like that, it usually means they do have an allergy or a food sensitivity at this time. Just some thoughts to you to make your justifications not so easy-ha!

how do I know I need a cleansing when this knee had a problem 15 yrs ago and was gone for 11yrs and came back differently
and that has been cured it seems and the current problem has only come back after a month of being gone with no continuing treatment of the supps that help. I would think if wheat or anything else was causing the problem the problem would stay or I would need to avoid the cause all the time. if wheat or anything else was causing it why does it go away and not need treatment ? I think there is a weakness or damage that flares up from time to time untill I find what fixes it. I haven't needed to take cod liver oil which would take away the type of pain I had 15yrs ago in 15 min and wasn't needed but every few weeks. That did go on for about 2 yrs but never came back. The next problem has been gone for about 8 mo this time. It would be gone for 4 mo the first 2 times and only took a few days to get rid of it with MSM & Glucosamine/Chond. It was very bad when walking down steps that I had to take one step at a time. This problem is different and not as severe.
I can't see giving up something I like and makes me feel better than without. I like to avoid discomforts. That is why I look for answers to pains. Luckily I have found things that help what does come up or my injury definetly caused.
