I found an interesting article on the New Hope Natural Media web site regarding colostrum. It seems that colostrum is very beneficial in healing and maintaining the GI tract and for supporting muscle growth in athletes/weightlifters. Supposedly it is most potent from a bovine source. Does this have any negative affect on the human system? Who is a good manufacturer for this product?

Having been born & raised on a large dairy farm, I know something about the healing properties of colostrum. I know nothing about the research you are mentioning but the conclusions youa re reporting do not surprise me in the least.
STILL, even if the most enthusiatic reports are true, the cause of LGS is not a colostrum deficiency. This will never be more than a safe & effective treatment. There is no reason not to use it so long as the individual understands this and proceeds to deal with the causes that have been discussed so many times on this BB.
