How do you know if you have leaky-gut? Do you simply believe that everyone has it?

getting a test called "intestinal permeability" will prove that one has or doesn't have LGS. It is a urine test. Other than that, there is no way to know 100% if one has LGS. With experience, one can take a very well educated guess that LGS is most likely behind a condition but if it's proof you are looking for, the proof is in the "urine" :-).

Dear Walt

I have been strugling with psoriasis the last 15 years (I am now 37) on my arms, hands, legs and face. Unfortunately it seems to get worse when exposed to sun-light, and this causes great problems since I love to be ooutdoor.

Last year I also had to do surgery to remove parts of my colon because of polyps. I am convinced that all my problems is caused by some sort of imballance in my body, and I suspect that now there is a LGS and candida infection involved. I am now drinking juice og grapefruit-seeds to remove viruses, parasites etc, and have stopped to eat yeast, sugar and milk. Is this enough to get rid of the candida/psoriasis?
Please help me with your advise!
Eric

Hi, Mary.

Statistically, more than 75% of everyone walking down the street now has LGS. Of those who the conventional medical monopoly has not been able to help--to the point where they are seeking help on the internet--nearly 100% not only have it but it is the proximate cause of their "unexplained symptoms" in the majority.

The fact is that those who go to the bother to deal with their LGS, get well and those who do not do not.

Come up with a better scenario and I will listen.

Walt

Where would I get a urine test for this? I don't suppose a regular doctor would test for "leaky gut." Thanks!

No, he/she wouldn't. Call Great Smokies labs and ask them to recommend a doctor in your area that uses their testing. That's the easiest way

Is there a home test available?
I'm 98% sure that my mother has LGS,and I'd like to prove it to her.

Hi, Iri.

A serum indican test is simple, quick and fairly indicative of the condition but would only be available in a knowledgable doc's office.

The LGS archives lists the best tests I know of.
