Hey doc, I have ibs, but also super sensetivity in the esophogus, like the nerves are damaged. all blood work comes back ok, I am doing sr, but the esophogus spasms even when i use the air conditioner, or drink cold water, i jumped in a pool the other day and immediatly got the spasms. my motility study said a non specific motor disorder.
while i am working on stress and diet, i am taking celexa at 10 mg. it's not helping the super sensetivity, but helps the stress,so i can do sr. my doc wants me to take elavil instead, but im afraid it will constipate me more than now. i am working on the 3 legs of wellness, but this sensetivity kills me. whether dust, hot, cold, or just chewing alot, i get the spasm. what is your advise on the elavil? and what nutritionally can help the esophogus sensetivity

Hi, Mike.
What happened when you tried the GRJ?
Have you checked out whether your SR actually is producing the "Relaxation Response"?
I see no problem with the Elavil. Just use the constipation protocol if you get constipated.
