Bile salt diahrea

Posted by Suzanne on August 07, 2002 at 19:19:13:

Every once in a while I get this strange type of diarhea. It has a yellowish appearance to it, an odor and feels like fire when it comes out. I did some searching on the net and it sounds like bile salt diarhea but it said that you get that after having your gallbladder removed. I still have my gallbladder so that's not the reason. Does this mean my gallbladder is bad? Up till now I've only seemed to have a problem when eating eggs. Today I ate meatloaf made with ground pork, ground beef, tomatoes, onions, bread crumbs, eggs and carrots and had the same problem. I can eat the really fatty stuff like french fries, bacon and chips with no problem whatsoever (not that I eat them often mind you). Any ideas why I have this problem when I still have my gallbadder and what I can do about it?Thanks,Suzanne

Hi, Suzanne.

LGS! You are on the verge of IBS or more serious conditions.

Use the home page, glossary and archives to learn as much about LGS as you can before you start getting rid of it.

Once your LGS is gone you will be normal.

Let us know what you learn.

Walt
