I think its my diverticulitis

I feel like my colon is inflamed and passing mucus-burning type. My doc won't listen to me thinks it is stress. Something natural I can do.

Hi, Diane.

The only thing that causes this is lGS (leaky gut) and you are going to have to face that and resolve it or "This is as good as it gets!"

ALL of these kinds of colon problems are directly or indirectly caused by stress-effect storage in the hypothalamus. The solution to LGS includes serious SR (skilled relaxation) any your understanding the home page article "The Modern Medical Interpretation of Stress".

Let us know what you learn and how you do.

I have a mild case of diverticulosis. I had a bout of about a year or two in length in my 20's with spastic colon (irritable bowel syndrome - IBS). It came back in my 50s recently and I'm not sure what to blame it on - I think partly due to sedentary lifestyle because i have rheumatoid arthritis and perhaps some of the rather strong drugs I'm on. Although this time, mine was mostly constipation.

A few things you should do - drink lots and lots of water. Try to get out and walk as much as possible - your colon needs that exercise. You might try taking a fiber supplement. A good one that I've been using lately is from a company called RenewLife called FiberSmart which is a combination of soluble and insoluble fibers (flax and borage fibers) and also includes acidophilus and L-Glutamine. I'm sure if you search on the Net for that , you will find it. They also have other products specifically for IBS. Another thought and one which I've used with great success is an ayurvedic formula called Triphala which comes highly recommended by Dr. Weil as a bowel toner and regulator. I use the tablet form from Planetary Formulas which you can also find by doing a search on the Net. And if you are a stressful person and under stress, that will certainly cause it to flare, so seeking out relaxation remedies is good advice.

Hope one, some, or all of these will help!
