I had an operation one year ago and I've had incidents even before that of irritable bowel and candida. The problem is I was impacted after the operation and ever since I can't seem to have a bm without help. I tried dieter's tea but get severe headaches from senna, I tried MO but it quits working after a few days, I tried mineral oil with miralax and same thing (though I ended up with low minerals), I take magnesium because in addition I've been getting migraines, I eat fiber, drink lots of H2O, and have even tried fiber supplements (they block me). So I've been giving myself a daily enema w/ distilled H2O just to get anything moving. I feel no contractions. I only feel myself getting full and I will bloat (sometimes my waist grows 7-8 inches in a couple of hours). Is there anything I can do to get the colon to start moving? It's like it is completely asleep.

What kind of operation did you have?

Hi, Connie.
I believe that your only hope is serious wellness. That should resolve the problem within a year. Without it this will undoubtedly gradually get worse. See the glossary for any unfamiliar terms, the archives for more information and get a free protocol by going to the home page article: "How to be Healthy".
Let us know how you do.
