I have learned that candida can be spread between two partners. If one treats the candida, but has with his/her partner, then one can become re-infected w/candida.
The question is: Is it just the physical contact of , or is it the bodily fluids that contain the candida (semen)?

Also, if my husband has fungus in all ten toe nails, can fungus infection spread to me in the form of candida?

Hi, Sophia.
There are many kinds of fungus. Candida does not cause toenail infestation.

Torry,
Certainly, if your husband has a heavy infestation, the equation would shift toward your having candida reinfection more than if he did not.
HOWEVER, you would be AMAZED to know the actual number of candida yeast spores you are exposed to every minute of every day in this earth environment. The addeed exposure from your husband is negligible. What IS of paramount importance is YOUR level of immunity to it.
This has been discussed so many times on this BB..........
Go to the clossary for any unfamiliar terms and go to the archives link I have prepared for you below and spend a few hours.
THEN, if you still have questions, write again.
