Leaky Gut Syndrome

Pleae help me if you can.
I just received my results from the GSD lab and it says that my lactulose range was 1.68 (range shud be less than 1.50, mannitol percent recovery was 20 (range is from 4-27)
Lactulose/Mannitol Ration Ref Range was 0.08 (range shuud be less an 0.10)
What exactly does this mean. It says in the commentary that lactulose recovery was above ref. range indicating an increase in intestinal perm. between the cells. What should I be doing now to get this under control.
I have had a CDSA done and digestion, absorption were all normal. Parasite report showed Candida was(1) Yeasts were (2) and Bacteria-(normal bacili)was (2).... Normal Value - 0 parasites - Reference range 0 to 4...4 being very heavy presence. Can you give me any suggestions at all.
Thank you very much.

Hi Karen! This was posted on the BB by "Resolve" and this info will help you to heal your leaky gut problem. To eradicate the fungus and parasites, you need to order a procut called "Agrisept-L". * S.H.A.P.E. *

Easy Leaky Gut Cure

1. Stress reduction. This is #1-without it the rest of this list will not work. Rolfing helps, also skilled relaxation (meditation etc). Let go of your anger-forgiveness is the key. If you still hold grudges for whatever reason, let them go--anger creates problems and is what causes stress in most people.

2. Diet. Do the elimination diet and then the 4 day rotation diet for at least 6 months. After that try to eliminate or rarely use sugar, caffeine, processed food, etc. 98% of your diet should consist of veggies, fruits, grains (if you can handle them) and nuts. I would not recommend fiber supplements except for ground flax seed (which you can do yourself-it is a lot fresher than something that has been sitting in a plastic canister for months). Get your fiber from fruits, veggies, nuts and grains.

3. Exercise. 30-45 minutes cardio(work your way up if you have not exercised in a while) at least 5 days a week and strength training (free weights or weight machines) 3 times per week. If you are not active in your daily activities you need to workout (either cardio or weights) 5-7 days per week.

4. Spring or Purified Water--Drink at least 6-9 glasses per day to keep hydrated. If you would like, you could pour 1oz of cranberry juice with 7oz of water which also gives your kidneys support.

Supplements such as L-glutamine are ok but are not needed. Stress reduction, a clean diet and exercise is all you need to cure leaky gut. I had horrible LGS for about 10 years of my life (Great Smokies tested 05/2000 results said that I basically had very bad LGS) and have not had it (Great Smokies tested 01/2003 showed no sign of LGS) for almost 2 years. It is tough at first, but I assure you it gets easier as time goes on.

Hi, Karen.

Listen to SHAPE.

Your results mean early LGS.

SHAPE:
I found something called GSE (Grapefruit Seed Extract) is this similar to Agrisept L? I have taken it these past few days just once a day...but yesterday and this morning my left breaks out in a rash...nowhere else...maybe its not the same but it is for the same problems? If you could give me some info that would be good.
Thanks for your info on LGS..I have begun the elimination diet and I always have been an exerciser (runner) for many years. Not as much lately though because I have gone back to school full time. So my stress level is elevated a little. Over 50 and returning to full time school is definately a challenge. Thanks again
Karen
