LGS

I am happy I am finding a site that may relate to the ongoing problem I am expieriencing.
I have had all types of allergy test run..nothing.
what i am experiencing is an outbreak of hive type welts on any given area on my body which i must say itch tremendously about 4 hours after eating. the only thing that offers relief is a benadryl. i have connected the outbreaks to an intestinal based reaction because it only occurs after i eat food. after speaking with a colon hydrotherapist about it, i discovered that i may be expieriencing LGS- the result of toxins leaking into the bloodstream. Now my physicain disagrees because based on liver test, my liver numbers are normal. However, i have had hep A & B which could have affected the way my liver is operating.
Additionally, I expierience bad breath which i think could be the result of improper fermentation. Dr Stoll, please give me advise.
Is Cats Claw a good method of dealing with these problems?

Hi, Tim.

I am not a good enough herbologist to advise you about the "cats' claw". However, I AM a good enough LGS expert to remind you what I say about chronic problems like this: "Something you TAKE will never resolve any chronic problem; only something you DO."

Spend a few hours on the archives, glossary & search engine about LGS. THEN, if you still have questions, write again.

Walt

Thank you for responding. I spent the last 2 days researching and i'm still unclear about your response. i realize you answer many people daily, but could you explain a little more about your phrase "not what i take, but what i do"?...i would greatly appreciate it.

Hi Tim:
Your liver can definitely not be working correctly and still have normal liver enzymes. I threw that at my doctor (asked if there were any new test to detect a misfunctioning vs acute liver cell death. She said no, short of biopsy. No thank you.) What Walt means is you need to take charge of your life style. There is no magic pill that will work. Also if your liver is not keeping up with detoxification, adding alot of medicines may stress it further. Good luck. This is a wonderful board and there is a wealth of information. Take time to read Walt's book, the glossary and the archieves. Pam

Hi, Pam.

There ARE actual "liver function tests" that change long before any of the "liver death tests" presently called "functional" by intentionally ignorant physicians. Just because they are the ones that have been used for 50 years is NO reason to ignore those that change before the liver cell actually dies and ruptures its enzymes into the blood stream.
