LGS??? Nausea

Posted by Angela on February 11, 2000 at 11:54:04:

Is LGS repairable without going to the drs, something I can do my own. I think I may have this, let me explain..
There was a time whenever I drank coffee, ate spicy sauces, tomatoes Id get this uncomfortable, gnawing feeling about 1 or 2 " below breast bone in the middle. After a couple hours, I literally hear and feel 'it' gurgling, breaking up. Then it is perfectly fine. If I eat, then doze off 30 mins. I awaken slightly nauseated which is gone within 5 or 10 minutes. I also suffer with costochondritis, maybe fibromyalgia, neck and sever shoulder pain occasionally. I sleep in odd positions with three pillows, not good right? I eat well, exercise when I can, and use too much sugar in my coffee which now is 1/2 decaf 1/2 regular. Could this gnawing thing be an ulcer (peptic)? I seriously looked on your site for ulcer and GERD, LGS, and didnt really see any specific symptoms of these. Can you tell me what you think this could be, and also maybe link me to info on this stuff?
I also am interested in the phone consulatation, curious to know what Id learn from this conversation. Thank you

You asked (I think) about the health coaching.

There is a page in this site (linked below) that tells all about Walt's Health Coaching, the information needed, the process, the charges, etc.

When people collect and post the necessary information here publicly in this BBS, then Walt reviews the information, does his "magic" and posts what he would have told the person here in the BBS. When done publicly, this service is free, since it potentially benefits many folks who may have similar background/symptoms, etc.

To see where several people have recently taken this route, look further down this page and you will find some. And/or you might use the search engine on "Health Coaching". Have it look for both words, not either.

If privacy is important to you, and/or if you really want to do it over the phone (the results/suggestions portion only) then that's completely up to you.

Lately far more people have been doing it the free & public way rather than the private and Pay a little way. And some folks who have sent Walt the necessary lifetime medical history have never bothered to arrange and to call him to get their results. He does not appreciate doing the reading and research, for nothing, especially since no one benefits.

Hope this helps!

You asked about LGS. If you have not already done so, go to the LGS entry in the Glossary (linked below) and explore the links there.

The 3-legs of the Wellness stool that Walt recommends to everyone are: (1) Skilled Relaxation, (2) Aerobic Exercise, and (3) Whole Foods Diet. That said, Walt has never seen any kind of diet by itself reverse LGS, although it may help in the short run. Only SR will reverse it in the long run.

So if you want to address your LGS, SR (Skilled Relaxation) is where you will need to start. See the SR link in the Glossary and follow the links there for what you can do about your LGS.

Hope this helps!
