Why does it say the intestinal lining can be healed in 24 hours??

As I have said on this website for at least 10 years: the stomach lining replaces itself every 12 hours, the colon every 18 hours and the small intestine every 14 hours! That makes the average length of time for the intestinal lining total turnover to be about 14 hours.
If everything is optimal, the intestinal lining easily can te totally renewed in 24 hours.
