Chronic Atrophic Gastritis

Hi,

Finally I received my endoscopy and biopsy results, my Dr diagnosed me with moderate chronic atrophic gastritis,negative for helicobacter, normal b12 levels, he don't seem concerned about it, he prescribe Nexium 20 mg twice a day and that's all,please I need your advice. Thx in advance.Regards.

PS: I am a 39 years old male, no alcohol, healthy diet, lot of stress, smoke 2 cigarretes a day.

Merry Christmas...

You might want to give up those cigarettes completely..
If you are not a coffee drinker, it migth be a worthwhile experiment to try two or three cups a day
for a few weeks to see if that helps gut motility..

If you are not an exerciser, try walking or a bike ride for a half hour a day to help flexing the body and the gut a bit more.

One more thing... it is common to test normal for b12 and still have a low level...

look up "gum mastic". I'd get some and also add a probiotic. an affordable one is PB8 found on-line at Vitacost.
