Relaxing Beths Candidia Wholefood diet

Hi I have been going v well on the Candidia Wholeffods diet in Beths book. I was strictly wholefoods and no fruit for over a year while using the other legs of the 3LS to help me recover from pelvic pain.

I am not out of the woods but a whole lot better.

However I am enjoying all the new foods I can eat now a little too much and the thrush has returned and is increasing my pelvic pain once again.

I introduced fruit and I must admit a glass of wine once a week and some dark chocholate over the last month and ITS BACK!

So what do I do now? Do I go strickly back on the candida whole foods diet no fruit for three months and then if under control try smaller doses? I found I am also feeling flat and that is part of this whole candidia thing. I am taking good probiotics now every day and eating lots of plain yogurt and using olive leaf extract drops. I have also been prescribe fluxocole?? 150mg once a week by my gyno.

What do you think of the diet timing is my question?

Walt I have I have been doing the 3ls for over two years and am amazingly improved. The pain clinic said I would never get better. But it has been only the last few months I have been able to tolerate probiotics...and since doing the "headach in the pelvis" course in California (I flew from Sydney) I now think there has been underlying candidia (I was only able to finally treat the parasites three months ago) all this time combined with an over contractied pelvic muscels from all the burning I have had for years.

I thought it was salicylates now I think it was thrush. The salicylate diet was wholefood but allowed fruit and that seems to be the problem I think I never got rid of it properly.

I am down to very low doses of the drugs now and weaning off the Lyrica (30mg) and Elavil (5mg)..but I still get burning in the area outside the bladder. I think it is candidia and it may have been the problem all along.

I meditate each day for 20 mins to an hour, do yoga 3 times a week and have introduced walking or swimming once a week and am back at work. I ma greatly improved but this seems to be the last thing.

So how do I do this with the diet start again? with no fruit....I did no fruit for a long time but I think I was still so stressed and clenching because of the pain.

I am glad to hear that you are MUCH improved and sorry to hear that you are still having some symptoms.

I wish I knew what to tell you. There STILL is hope that eventually, you will still improve some more just with what you are doing.

I guessd the rule is to "never stop looking for more answers". Let us know what you learn. Perhaps your solutions will help others.

I guess the rule for me is to be reminded that NOTHING is 100% effective for everybody--no matter how much I may wish it.

If I were you, I'd go back off the stuff you started eating and see if that makes a difference.

Some of us simply cannot tolerate "illegal" foods for very long. In my case, for example, I just CANNOT eat fruit in any quantity or I start having symptoms again. I've experimented over and over with this and it keeps coming out the same. (that's how you know for sure)
