CELIAC SPRU

i was diagnosed 3 yrs. ago and am very disaplined with my diet. but i still have bouts of "unexplained" diarrhea and stomach pain. i try to notice a pattern but there doesn't seem to be.
what do you suggest? these bouts can be 2,3,4 or more days when everything goes thru me - and it can be embarrassing if the first time there's no warning.

My father has non-tropical spru and all his problems
are because of an allergy to wheat. The same thing
happens to him when he eats wheat or really any glutens.
You won't believe everything has has wheat in it.

Sprue is just LGS in a genetically susceptible person. Totally eliminating wheat is helpful AND all of the things listed in the archives about LGS are complementary to its resolution.

Gluten elimination, alone, is a shortsighted approach (a la the Allopathic Paradigm of one cause for one disease) which is but a baby step in the right direction.

What about all those people whose total elimination of gluten finally stops working????? If gluten was THE cause, why would not that elimination be the CURE?
