Candida / Parasites / Leaky Gut - Part Two - Nutrition / Foods

Posted by S.H.A.P.E. on March 19, 2001 at 10:26:11:

Hi Folks:
Candida Albican (CA) is a "Slow Killer" and should be considered a life-threatening disease. I have personally watched my sister and one friend die when CA was allowed to flourish and become "Systemic" (in the blood stream). Once CA becomes Systemic, it can take up residence in a vital organ and eventually destroy that organ. In my sister's case, the continued use (30 years) of Anti-Inflammatory
drugs allowed the systemic CA to finally destroy her lungs. The cause of death in the autopsy report was that her lungs were destroyed due to the presence of Candida Albican. Before I discuss my friend's case I would like to interject that the treatment they performed on her is the very same method of treatment that conventional doctors (CD) prescribed for me (one year earlier) -- The CD told me that I had CA in my bloodstream and that (and I quote) "You are going to die, actually you should already be dead". "You will probably go blind first and more than likely have a heart attack". He also said, "I have never seen a person with this level of CA in their bloodstream that was still alive". BUT, thanks to Dr. Stoll's excellent advice - I said "NO" to their treatment. In my friend's case, the doctor's performed (at my request) a blood test called a Fungal Culture with the Source being Blood which takes six weeks to grow before confirmation of the CA being systemic can be confirmed. Upon confirmation that it was indeed systemic, my friend was coerced and scared into the CD's treatment, which was intravenously introduced potent antibiotics for a period of 30 days (which is ironic because antibiotics caused her CA in the beginning). This IV antibiotic was known to have the possibility of irreversible kidney damage - which is exactly what happened. Her kidneys shut down and a domino effect was set in motion with her other organs. Her cause of death (after weeks of torment and pain) was staff infection. Did Dr. Stoll save my life with his caring and alternative advice? YES he did and again - I thank him "Big Time". NOTE: If any of you reading this find out that your CA is systemic - I WOULD NOT LET THE CD'S PERFORM THIS TREATMENT - due to their "lack of understanding" about CA - this deadly treatment is all CD's have to offer. These condensed Medical Histories were included to inform you Guys of the IMPORTANCE of getting CA under control before it is too late - there is a point of no return!
FOODS:
When I said earlier in the program to forget a CA diet that wants you to exist mainly on brown rice - that's what I meant. WE all have different body chemistries and we're trying to get the CA under control - not DEPRIVE and starve ourselves to the point of unhappiness. This kind of thinking only adds more STRESS to an already stressful situation. These are my suggestions: Eat only one item per meal (this means that if you are eating fish - then eat only fish) - don't eat fish, rice and vegetables all at the same time. Your digestion is already compromised - just give it one item every 2 or 3 hours to digest properly. So 2 or 3 hours later have the rice - and 2 or 3 hours later have the vegetables. Eat like this and your digestive system will say thank-you by decreasing indigestion / bloating, etc. How much of the one item do you consume? Eat only what will fit in the palm of your hand (NO, not a whole turkey that some you Guys can hold with one hand)! Moderation is everything! That is one of the secrets to radiant health. As much as possible, do not drink liquids with your one item of food - it interferes with the digestive process. Chew your food until it become liquified - digestion begins in the mouth. If you feel that you must have two items of food per meal (fish and salad) then eat the protein item (fish) first - then eat the salad. It takes more enzymes to digest protein than it does vegetables. Eat fruit alone or leave it alone. Consuming your meals in this fashion not only improves digestion - it is extremely helpful with weight loss and lessens the chances of consuming a product that you might be allergic to. Be sure to MT every food or drink that goes into your mouth. While trying to get CA under control (for 3 months) do not eat: Sugar or sugar substitutes, chocolate, red meat, wheat products, white flour products, tomatoes, or tomato sauces - DO NOT drink coffee, soda pop, alcohol or milk. Remember we are trying to reduce the toxic load within your intestinal tract/colon - the previously mentioned items will only increase the toxic load. However, realizing that there must be moderation in all things - yin and yang - pick a day like Saturday and consume a small portion of your favorite "poison" so that you don't feel too deprived and become stressed out. It is not what we consume once in a while that hurts us - it's what we consume everday / all day long / that determines our state of health. Most of us, including me, hate to eat our vegetables. Juicing vegetables makes the process a lot more bearable and by-passes the need for digestion, thereby, allowing time for the digestive tract to Rest/Heal. Also, you lose none of the minerals and vitamins that are lost during the cooking process. To put it simply: "Juicing will save your life". Most juices (undiluted) however, can be so strong that they irritate the throat and upset the stomach - so I recommend that you dilute them with water before consuming. While trying to get CA under control - consume only one fruit product per day (citrus is not good for an already inflammed Intestional Tract). Do consume carrot juice - the benefits outweigh the sugar content that most worry about. Again - MT all products before consuming them. Thanks SHAPE! Can you give me some tips on juicing? Which vegetables work best for health and for flavor and which combinations? What kind of juicer do you have? Is there a juicing recipe that can be consumed slightly warm, perhaps with a bit of mineral salt, as a soup?

Ok, your friends doctor did the test that YOU requested and then you didn't agree with his treatment? Was this before or after you spoke to doctor Stoll? What treatment would you advice?

Found this awhile back...might be something to try.

Potassium Broth Recipe
This is a great-tasting addition to your cleansing program. It will flush your system of toxins, poisons and unwanted salts and
acids while giving you a concentrated amount of vitamins and minerals.
Fill a large pot with 25% potato peelings, 25% carrot peelings and whole chopped beets, 25% chopped on-ions including
50 cloves of garlic , 25% celery and dark greens. Add hot peppers to taste. Add enough distilled water to cover vegetables
and simmer on very low temperature for 1-2 hours. Strain, or just dip your mug in, and drink only the broth. Put the
vegetables in your compost. Make enough for two days, refrigerating the leftover broth. It is important to use Organic
vegetables. We do not want to consume any toxic insecticides, pesticides or inorganic chemical fertilizers while we are on a
cleansing and detoxification program.

Quick question- what is it in the potassium broth recipe that contains the potassium----is it the 5o cloves of garlic? Just asking because my most recent blood tests show I have unusually high potassium and my doc wants to know all my supplements. I do take garlic oil 3x a day and am wondering if that is the answer. Thanks! katie

Are you familiar with Dr Richard Schulze? He's a firm believer in the power of garlic. This recipe was posted on his 5 day liver cleanse and detox page. If you don't need to detox...then maybe you don't need so many cloves of garlic LOL Here is the site. Can never get the link url thingy to work for me.
