I just read a blurb about how they now think that BLOOD SUPPLY might have something to do with inflammatory bowel disease. Also, Dr. Dean Adell was saying something about how they found that STRESS causes the main artery to the uterus to constrict then, of course, causing decreased blood flow. I think this was with respect to pregnancy and birth defects. Anyway, I'm so excited when I hear these things and you, Walt, knew it all along. I always feel like I'm in on this big secret and the "medical experts" figure it out in tiny bit by tiny bit. But it's just small pieces and they can't quite get the whole puzzle together. Now if only they could figure out how to restore blood flow -- I'm sure they'll be working on a drug.

There still are "lurkers" on this 'site that doubt the mechanism of LGS in most cases.
I did not discover this, Hans Selye, MD did. It has been part of the world's medical literature for 50 years. I will bet that the new "discoverers" will not give any credit to Dr Selye. It would be too embarassing to admit that we took 50 years to learn something so basic.
