Abdominal Pain- Please Help!!!!!

PLEASE HELP- I suffer from severe abdominal pain, bloating of the stomache, and nausea.
I was just released from the hospital yesterday, the doctors could not find the problem.
Test reults showed nothing abnormal- CT Scan, X_RAYS, colonoscopy, laproscopy and pelvis normal. The doctor said my small intestine looked perfect. I need help to diagnos this problem.

I recently had my gall bladder removed (surgically not scope)10/01/01-It was infected on the inside and the Doctor said there was a good chance I should recover fine. He also noted a hernia he removed just under my naval. I started feeling better and recovery seemed 100%. I started a new job, things going well.

10/19/01 Trip to ER experiencing abdominal pain, nasuea

That same team of doctors released me after a trip to the emergency room 10/19/01 saying they were stuck, did not know why I was still in pain and that the gall bladder was indeed bad and the surgery should have fixed the problem. They seem to have washed their hands of the situation.

1996- surgery to remove small bowel obsrtruction- after this I was OK until now.

1995-Appendix removed.

1993-Hysterectomy.

1996-Diverticular removed same time as bowel obstruction (am not sure one or all???).

If it isn't a blockage it might be a spasm. I had bloating
and pain from everything I ate or drank after bruising my
ribs on the side that hurt from my spine to the opposite
side of my stomach. It was going on for a few days and
taking Cat's Claw allowed me to eat without pain and the
problem quickly vanished. Wonder if they bruised you during
the operation and it keeps geting strained. What started
my problem was that I fell asleep on the TV remote. If the
stomach can't empty it will cause bloating.

Hi, Sandy - Have you considered having a consultation with a doctor (specialist in gastroenterology) not affiliated with these doctors? Can you get your medical records to see if they did remove all the diverticula and exactly what they have done since? You would take all those to the new doctor and see what he thinks. That is what I would suggest, if you find it is not your diet or from spasms or bruising as Vince suggested. Raisa

Hi, Sandy.

LGS, LGS, LGS, LGS, LGS, LGS! Do you need any more?

ALL of your listed problems are because the simplistic allopathic paradigm still denies LGS exists.

Read the archives and glossary about your condition and let us know what you learn.

The reference (book) about gastroenterology would also help a lot and would help your ignorant physicians as well--as though they would listen to those advances....

Walt

Dr. Stoll,
I am researching LGS. Thanks for the reply.
Just an update on my condition-
My legs have starting hurting pretty badly and my lower back just a little- is this consistent with LGS???

Hi, Sandy.

Since bracing is the most common common denominator for all that you are describing, you would benefit from looking at the glossary and the archives about bracing.
