Dear Dusty,
Almost certainly this is NOT a "fatty cyst" but a lipoma (a benign fatty tumor). It is possible that the doc didn't want to say the word tumor because then he would have to explain that is was not a cancer. Whatever: there is not any such thing as a "fatty cyst".
These are mainly cosmetic and will never do you harm. The only reason for removing them (a very simple thing) would be cosmetic. NOW, if you started getting more of them, this is a message about fat metabolism you should heed.
Dear Walt;
I have tis problem and it appears to have become much worse over the last year or so, and I had a few removed. Mostly in my tricept / quad / hamstring area's. I am a 37 year old body body builder and have a pretty strict diet and low body fat. Your comment about fat metabolism has me concerned. What should I do? Does liposuction work for this? Man am I confused...

Hi, Ric.
The only thing I know of to try for recurrent and multiple lipomas is the essential oils described on the homepage. Try them and let us know how you are doing about a year or so from now. Once one is present, the only thing I know of for you to do is surgery.
The fatty metabolism that is out of whack, that causes these, is due to an imbalance of the ratios of the kind of fat we now eat and the essential oils that used to be in our diets.
