Walt--?? about sphinter of oddi??

Hi walt--

My GI now claims that I may have a functional problem with the Sphinter of Oddi?? He says that it may be spasming causing bile to occasionally back up into my liver and causing my liver enzymes to become elevated? Does this sound like a rational explanation to you? I have no faith in MD's anymore. I feel they are playing guessing games with my health! He has only come to this conclusion because we have been dealing with this problem for over a year and every possible diagnosis he has come up with, doesn't seem to be panning out. He said it's very hard to come up with a definite diagnosis for this disorder. Could bracing cause this sphincter to malfunction like that? Thanks to this wonderful website, I have started to practice wellness including SR. Is there anything else you would suggest?
