The topic of liver flushing has been popular on this board for many months and I've seen many people post that they have done 1, 2 or 3 liver flushes or more. Besides passing "stones" from the size of sand to golfballs, what has anyone accomplished from this bizarre ritual? I've never seen a single post praising the results of liver flushing the way I do with the people who practice skilled relaxation regularly. So, why do you torture yourselves?

Actually, various people posting here, have been doing the liver flush for at least a couple of years, and describing it in disgusting detail.
When they observe large globs of whatever in their feces, they presume their livers are now free of those substances. Sounds like a crock to me.
It seems what really gets them going is playing around in their own turds then writing about it. Fetish or therapy, you decide.

I'm experimenting with it. Flushed for first time 5 days ago. Just got out some of what they call "chaff," no stones. One observation: I'm 3 days away from my period and do not have the extremely painful, swollen breasts I always have 1-2 weeks before. The flush? I don't know.

Check out the post from "Klingon". These are some fringe folks.

So let me get this straight. The people whom have posted, here on an alternative board, who had no recourse through conventional medicine and doctors, SHOULD NOT post here, which for many is a last resort for getting some sort of helpful information that which ails them.
And this is because your delicate sensibilites are offended by graphic descriptions of bodily functions and malfunctions? Then perhaps you would be more comfortable hanging out on the WebMD board, or any other board where they pardon the pun "feed you a load of crap." Yes yes, I am sure a nice, sterile CONVENTIONAL medical board where the doctor tells you you are wrong -oh excuse me tells you what is wrong, would be much more to your liking, yes?

Lilly and Bert,
I have seen the clinical improvements of those selected people who do the liver flush. Nothing is a cure all and I do not recommend it for everyone. I do not believe that the lumps that are passed are all "stones". However one cannot deny the thousands of symptomatic people who have avoided gallbladder surgery by doing an occasional liver flush.
Since it is harmless, inexpensive & in many cases very effective, what would you have them do?
Walt

You must be the target audience for fecal raconteurs. Just think, you can talk about it as well!!
Get a life, take metamucil and keep the results between you and the department of sanitation.

I have a life, and not one that it is your job to judge. If these posts bother you, then you are the one that needs a life for here your are making commentary, when clearly you could be engaged in more worthwhile activity.
Instead there you sit in front of the screen thinking up witty and sarcastic things to say about the ailments of others. What kind of lifeless and isolated sod does that? You have no ailment of your own that you wish to discuss, but are here solely to berated others, here to solve what ails them.
Perhaps you are therefore more deserving of pity than ire.

If you insist on being a fecal raconteur, try being funny.

Maybe they should post on scat boards? As a child, many kids made mud pies. As adults, many here make turd pies.
All I know is that it is one crappy subject. I wonder if any of these people "feces paint", like finger painting, only with turds instead of paints? Bert, would you pay your good, hard earned dollars to watch these folks dabble and delight in their own dung?
