Dr. Stoll,
I was wondering if you could help me with this one. I suffer from panic and anxiety for the past 20 years. 5 years ago when I had a relaps I developed terrible reflux problems. PPIs didn't work and after about 4 months I got better and my reflux disappeared. Had a setback 5 months ago and the reflux is back. GI doc diagnosed it as bile reflux after endoscopy and other tests. Apparently I am producing an excess amount of bile that refluxes into my stomach, causing an excess amount of acid secretion. The acid is controlled by the PPIs; however, I still have terrible burning in my throat most all day long. Do you have any suggestions what to do about bile reflux? Thanks
Margit

Margit,
Not sure what goes on but dogs bring up bile seemingly in
response to something they are that didn't agree. What comes
out is foamy and looks like detergent that i think what
breaks down fats they eat and i would think over produces or
just backs up and maybe upsets the stomach so is brought up.
I wonder if eating any foods cause the problem you have ??

Hi, Margit.
Listen to Vince (Thanks, Vince!)
How are you doing with your SR?
Obviously, the docs you have been seeing are only treating the tips of your iceberg. NOTHING you have mentioned has anything to do with WHY you have this.
Even though the word "doctor" means "teacher" your docs have done precious little teaching.
That means it is up to you to learn.
The information you need is on this 'site and it will be work for you to get it all. I will be glad to answer your questions once you have done your part.
Use the glossary, search engine, homepage and archives for subjects like: GERD, LGS, Panic Attacks, Anxiety, Stress-effect, SR and Testimonials. You will soon see how they connect: There is only one place in your bodymind where they come together!
ALL of your conditions have the same origin. To understand this in depth, you will need to read "MAH, MAS" by Dr Pelletier (see the glossary).
The ball is in your court.
Walt
