I came across a web page listing -- in bullet -- points causes of hemorroids. One was liver disease.
What is that all about? Where can I learn more about it (the possible causation or linkage)?
Is it (having hearroids) indicative of a stage of liver disease?

Both are related to total body bracing and both are directly related to LGS (the most common cause of which is bracing). They do not cause each other.
The simplistic conventional medical paradigm is once again guilty of the faulty thinking that is so common that there is even a latin phrase describing it:
"Post Hoc, Ergo Propter Hoc." Basically this is saying "after this, therefore because of this".
The point is that they BOTH are "tips of the iceberg" and one will never get rid of the iceberg by treating the tips.
What is LGS...?

Pardon my ignorance, I am new at this stuff but you said that Both are related to LGS -- what does that mean? Also, what is bracing?? Wow, do I ever need to learn!
Also, I guess I was asking are hemarroids a demonstrable manifestation of liver disease? In other words, where other factors are eliminated, what is the correlation.
Thanks and sorry for the ignorance!

We all were ignorant once, don't worry about it.
Leaky Gut Syndrome (LGS) has been discussed exhaustively on this BB for years--as has bracing (chronic muscle tension due to stored stress-effect in the hypothalamus). Go to the archives and the homepage.
THEN, if you still have questions, write again.
Hemorrhoids are not caused by liver disease or vice versa.
WELL! Having read my last statement (above). I have to say that end stage liver cirrhosis does cause back pressure on the intestinal circulation that is supposed to go through the liver. That can cause back pressure for the blood to go somewhere and there IS a connection between the intestinal circulation and the the rest of the body's circulation via the hemorrhoidal veins. This exrtra blood flow can dilate the veins and cause hemorrhoids.
Having said that, this is END-STAGE liver disease. Neither you nor your docs would have any doubt that you were dying by the time this obscure mechanism caused hemorrhoids.
Now THAT's a RESPONSE ... thanks

I am taking a peek right now at the BB for bracing and LGS Thanks
