Dr.Stoll,i have question for you please help.i take armour thyroid replacement meds and i have noticed for about 7months now my skins is yellowish especialy around my hands and feet area plus i have some discomfort in my right side just under my rib cage and sometimes the rib gets sore too.my stool is sometimes yellow to gray.i told my doc. and he did a liver function test and the test came back normal. what do you think i should do next?
ultra sound?
do you think its my thriod medicine?
please help i do have your book saving yourself from the disease care crisis.i know its to late for my thyroid i found this web site after my docs pushed me into rai and now iam hypo but stabile.i do eat veggies alot but not all the time.my doc blames the yellow skin on veggies and he said yellow stool is ok and liver test are normial and discomfort in my rightside is just stress so come back in a year and he will repeat some test. what do suggest i do next please help i have three little kids too raise.

Sounds like a gallbladder problem. I would suggest you find some Beta TCP from Biotics Research or AF Betafood from Standard Process. Take 2 or 3 tabs (4 or 5 of the AF Betafood) with each meal and see how you feel in a week.

i have the yellow facial skin, can i also try this? i have gerd, can the gallbladder be a problem?

Hi, Jack.

You have almost certainly had the liver "death" tests rather than the true liver "function" tests that show problem before the liver cells die. See the liver archives about who to contact and let us know what you learn.

There are still lots of docs out there who believe that, so long as the liver cells have not died, they are perfectly healthy (sigh).
