My Liver flush experience

Posted by Rosemarie on May 06, 2001 at 22:36:46:

Several of you in earlier posts wanted to know how my Liver Flush was and how I felt afterwards. I posted my experience back in October of last year. Dr. Stoll archived them but a hacker got into the board and several months of posts were lost. So I thought I'd just post it again.

As far as feeling any different afterwards, I did not notice. I've followed a holistic lifestyle pretty much for most of my life (I'm 58 now) and feel good almost all the time, without any of the usual medical problems of people my age. I'm not taking any medications either. So I'm doing all these things for preventative reasons. Preventative maintenance, if you will.

By the way, when you shake up the oil and grapefruit well, I think it actually tastes good. Just don't look at it when you drink it. The mind is a funny thing, you know!

Below is my protocol which incorporated Hulda Clark's instructions as well as those from a poster named Mairead - adjusted arbitrarily for my size and weight, since I'm more the size of a child at 5feet, 95pounds):
------------------------------------------------------------
10/11/00 – Wed. afternoon started Apple juice Fast (half apple juice and half water)

Hulda Clark's List of Ingredients:
Epsom salts……………..4 TB ((I used 6tsp.)

Olive oil ………………..half cup

Fresh pink grapefruit……1 large or 2 small – juice

Ornithine ………………..4 to 8, to help you sleep (I skipped this)

Thursday schedule:
MY CUSTOMIZED PROTOCOL

Cleanse Day: no solid food

I started an apple juice fast (diluted 1/2 water 1/2 juice) on Wednesday afternoon. Continued Fast through most of Thursday.

Stopped apple juice at 4:30

7:30PM took 1/2 cup water mixed with 2 tsp. epsom salt. (The original dose is one TB Epson salt in 3/4 c water.)

9:30PM took another dose of epsom salt.

11:30PM drank a mixture of 1/2cup olive oil and 3/4 grapefruit juice (Dr. Clark said it's okay to top it off). I shook this till thin in a glass with lid and I just let it all quickly run down my throat. Tasted fine. No problems.

Went to bed immediately on my right side with knees drawn to chest - had to go to bathroom within minutes, so I did. Not much came out though and, of course, it was too soon for stones.

Slept for about 2 hours then was kind of restless the remainder of the night, with very slight nausea if I moved around too much. So I tried to lie very still.

6AM got up and took another dose of Epson salt.

6:30AM diarrhea and about 80-90 bright green stones floating on top.

Shortly after that I felt weak, got nauseous and had to vomit. A lot of the oil mixture came up. Felt fine immediately after that.

6:35AM diarrhea and about another 80plus stones came out.

8:00AM took final dose of Epsom salt. No discomfort whatsoever.

Went to bed and slept for 1 1/2 hours.

10AM Breakfast: milkshake consisting of banana, raspberries, and blueberries.

Noon: Lunch consisting of small piece of grilled salmon, boiled potato with yoghurt and fresh chives and spring salad.

Next day (Friday)- NO bowel movement at all.

This morning (Saturday) watery stool and another 50plus stones. These were tan colored instead of bright green. Not sure if they came from a location further up or they lost their bright green color while lying around in my colon all day yesterday.

I feel great and am glad that I did this. Since Dr. Hulda Clark says it takes at least 2000 stones to rid yourself of allergies, arthritis, and other ailments I'm planning to do another one in about a month. I do have an allergy to dust. In general, I think a Flush like this is wonderful "general maintenance" procedure!
------------------------------------------------------------
I did a second flush a month later and did not have any vomiting. I think I reduced the amount of oil a bit this time to avoid the nausea. Here are the comments for that one:

Thursday 11/09/00

Second Gallbladder Flush.

I followed the above protocol. Did not get nauseous or vomit. No pain but at around 3 am had a feeling in my upper stomach like something wanted to come up - without nausea. I took a little Swedish Bitters (which is an herbal mixture to settle stomach upsets) and it went away. Did not have much activity until taking the second morning dose of Epsom Salt at 8AM. After that I had a series of trips to the bathroom - at least 8 that morning - with numerous stones coming out, then it subsided during the day. Later between 6 and 8PM I was again expelling some more stones.

This time, I did drink some carrot juice first thing after the cleanse at about 9:30AM which seems to have added somewhat to the general cleansing.

Saturday morning (2 days after taking the oil mixture) I still had diarrhea with some more stones – maybe 20 or so. After that, stool was starting to form. I took 2 caps. Acidophilus with FOS.
------------------------------------------------------------
I hope these instructions are helpful. I remember at the time several of us were doing this Flush and we all had lots of questions. A flush like this sounds kind of scary because you just don't know what to expect. So it helps to read about other people's experiences. But it is probably one of the more rewarding experiences you'll ever have IF you get results, ie:lots of stones! :-)

Good luck!

Rosemarie,

How's your hubby doing? You may have mentioned earlier, however, I'm not around much lately with my job and school.

Rosemarie,

Just wondering if you did a "parisite cleanse" before
this? And if so, what protocol did you use? Thought
I read something about this in her book.

Thanks for your time

Hi Paulette,

I was wondering what happened to you. Many of the old "regulars" are not around (or participating) any more. I miss Jim as well. Hope he's alright. Maybe he'll let us know some day.

My hubby is doing better than expected (at one time I feared he'd be bedridden!) But he can move his right arm in all directions and is starting to be able to hold onto things with it. He can walk with a hemiwalker (held by his side with his good arm). But he is still totally dependent on me for getting around, getting washed, dressed, etc. -which saddens him greatly as he fears the toll this might take on me eventually. (I'm only 5ft, 95lbs and he's now 189 - lost 25lbs... the hard way :-)] It's something he never dreamed would ever happen. But as you know he had many warning signs and like so many people thought he was invincible. Progress is slow but steady. We're taking it a day at a time. I make sure I get enough rest and keep up my usual health practices of whole foods, SR and exercise. I hope this will enable me to stay healthy - for his sake and mine.

Thanks for asking and caring. I also hope that you're doing fine. Seems like it, since you're working full time now.

Rosemarie

Steve, I did not do a parasite cleanse. I did the whole thing Dr. Clark suggests in her book about 15 years ago (including putting powdered cloves into caps and taking them in increasing dosages for weeks!) which takes a lot of time and motivation. I don't remember feeling any different then either. So this time I just wanted to do the liver cleanse. But keep in mind that I've never been a junk food eater or soda drinker (whole foods mostly and water or herbal tea or fresh juices) so not doing her other protocols may not make as much difference to me as someone whose system is overloaded with the average American diet.

Rosemarie,

Continue thinking positive, as you said he's doing better than expected. He's lost weight the hard way, however, he's lost weight. I happy to hear that he's progressing better than expected, however, he needs to start thinking more positive in order to heal. Thankfully you're doing your part to maintain your own health in order to continue to help him as he heals. Don't worry, soon he'll be washing and dressing himself. Yes, I'm positive about that as he's achieved so much more than you expected. Keep the faith.

It's been very difficult for me being a full-time student and full-time employee. My sales are not doing well and that's only stressing me out even more. I like this job, however, do not believe it's good for me. Might be looking for another job within the week while still working. This has stress has taken it's toll on my health, and SR sessions, etc...Come home only to collapse in bed for several hours.:-(

Jim posted sometime last week about his wife, etc...Again, thanks for letting us know.

Take Care Of Yourself

Paulette

Thanks for the update. I'd been thinking about you - I wish you both faith, progress and hope.

I bet Jim would enjoy a note from you. You should e-mail him - he's had almost as much on his plate as you (with his wife's health problems).

Take care,

June

Rosemarie,

I've been looking for just this type of information. I'm
afraid I dont' know how to find the 'liver archives' . I went
to the archives but did not find what I was looking for,
mostly just the same questions I was looking for
answers to. I don't think I'm doing the right searches or
something, and I've gotten a little impatient with myself.

Anyway, thank you SO much for this info. I found Hulda
Clarks book 'the cure for all cancers' (is that the right
one?) but didn't have the $$ to purchase the book yet.

I would appreciate any corrections if I have the wrong
book name. Or, if anyone knows where to find the
archives on liver and gall bladder flushes, please help
me out! Thanks again Rosemarie,

Lauri
