To Walt - or anyone who might know.
I have newly filed some old medical records. Among test results from the endocrinologist there was a note I must have overseen completely when I got the results. It said that my S-ALAT levels were elevated and that this should be tested again. This was 2 years ago.
I checked this up and found out that this might indicate liver disease. But this was so long ago, in a period where my liver was burdened from a detox I was going through.
Could that have contributed to the result?
What I wonder is how seriously I should take it, that is, should I test this again?
regards,
Sonja

Hi, Sonia.
Just another reminder of how important it is for everyone to have a copy of their medical records at home!
Yes, I would get that test tested again. Don't be surprised if it is normal this time.
