Sometimes I get this rash on my face and chest. Its like little wet blisters. After a few days it drys up and its gone. A friend of mine took a very close up picture of me with his digital camera a couple of weeks ago and you can see the rash really well on it, so I thought I'd post it here for an opinion. Is this an allergic rash or rosecea?
Thanks.

It looks and sounds like rosacea. Check out this web site:

Cloud,
I was going to say that it looked like rosacea as well.

I went to that website and it describes it as a type of acne. This isn't like acne at all. There are no pimples, just blisters that get wet. Also, it doesnt hurt at all. Also doesn't itch and I get it on my chest as well. They only mention it on the facial area on that site. Walt says that rosacea is the result of candida, but my gsdl test results showed negative for candida.

I've got it and it doesn't itch either. The only thing that might itch on me is the seborrea. (spl?)I get the blisters occasionally as well.

Hi, Rudolph.
This doesn't look exactly like rosacea but more like Discoid Lupus.
GSDL is the best in the country for the lab test for candida in the stool--so far as I know.
However, only the positive tests are 100% accurate. The negative tests are about 50% accurate. There are technical, laborarory reasons for this that GSDL can explain to you.
Let us know what you learn.

Hi Walt,
I have this too....but it comes and goes....I had all the tests for Lupas twice....The tests came out negative...
How do you separate the two, lupas mask from Roseasa?
Still doing diet, supplements, not enough SR.
thanks Barb

Hi Walt,

the picture on this post. But, I'm still curious...
Thanks

Hi, Barb.
A few blood tests will help but basically it takes close physical examination, biopsy and therapeutic trials.

THAT'S IT! I posted a response earlier about dry, cracking hands and couldn't remember the name of the cream I use for that. It's Neutrogena hand cream and the site you posted suggests this for rosacea, as well. It's very healing. Interesting, too, that the site you posted mentions LGS being a cause for Rosacea.
