Massage and effects on stress storage/anxiety disorders/ect..

Posted by Daniel [13639.7569] on April 20, 2009 at 17:56:24:

Hey guys,

I've heard Dr. Stoll mention many times that if one is dealing with an overloading of stress in the hypothalamus, a way to get immediate relief would be to get three massages a week for two weeks.

Why exactly does this help so much so quickly?

Daniel,

Give it a try and THEN let us know what you experience. It at least would temporarily reverse total body bracing that is so intimately associated with so many stress related symptoms. It also frequently induces the RR (relaxation response) so the patient begins to appreciate what THAT feels like and so appreciates more the importance of SR.

Hope this helps.

Walt
