Has anyone considered this as a cause of their candida, FM, CFIDS, or other related illness?

My wife has been suffering from a variety of physiological and psychological ailments for almost 2 years now. I'm sure stress and a less than favourable diet are very significant factors, but I also believe that amalgam may be a contributor.

Mercury directly depresses the immune system. There are many publications out there that have listed many of the world research articles directly linking amalgam fillings to immune depression & things like candida.
