The saga continues.
My wife is attempting to determine if her LGS and subsequent symptoms are in part caused by mercury toxicity. She has or has had 20+ amalgam fillings, 6 root canals, metal posts, crowns and gold put in her mouth. She is now beginning the testing for mercury. The first stage is to take chlorella. Given that this begins to pull the mercury out of her system (assuming there is some there), could she expect a worsening in her symptoms.
i've searched for hours and can only find sites praising chlorella and nothing that tells you that while it is good you may experience these side-effects initially. These thoughts were triggered in part by the symptoms that people report while on the elimination diet.
Thanks
Peter

Dear Peter,
The only person I know of that is competent to deal with all of the ramifications of this situation worked with me for many years in my centre in Lexington. He is still in Lexington. He is Ballard Morgan, DMD and his number is (606) 233-7700. If there is anyone closer to you, he would know. You need a dentist who is expert in electroacupuncture and "odontiod" mechanisms in the mouth (for the root canals), Homeopathy (for dealing with the odontoids) and an in depth knowledge of mercury---and how to avoid toxicity when removing it. He has all three areas of expertise and has traveled the world a number of times, that I KNOW of, to learn the cutting edge of world knowledge in these interrelated fields.
Tell him I suggested you call and give him a big hug for me if you get to see him about this.
Namaste` Walt

Hi--Peter, your wife's mouth sounds like mine. I've heard that candida goes after tooth roots. I once asked a guy if he had heard of people getting third sets of teeth--he said in cases where people get struck by lightning (don't try this at home!). I read once that fo ti (or ho shou wu) could do this. Wishful thinking in my case. Can animals in the wild grow new permanent teeth?! Mary J>

I, also, am going through detox following the removal of fillings. I have not been able to find information concerning worsening of symptoms, but I have definately experienced them. I am currently so dizzy all of the time that it is very hard to function. I am on a homeopathic detox program rather than DMPS. I am prayerful that this will work and that your wife and myself will soon experience health.

Dear Sherie,
Have you connected with the Huggins Center for information about what you should expect for how long?
