Just wondering if anyone on the board has had any success with having there amalgams removed, helping with their health..... I have a nervous system disorder and read that mercury is linked heavily to nervous system problems.

Hi Holly, Yes finally I had all the Mercury taken out last year. Changes, well i can tell you that i've had a couple of days a week really of detoxing the metal out of this body 2 months after it was done; I guess for me I found out how much it was effecting me,just by the Symptoms of it dumping out of this body; I really do not believe It is all out yet [the Mercury] but I'm working on it; I used EDTA by Wonder Laboratories to help this process;
What is very important is that whoever takes the Mercury out that they use a Gard in the mouth so that the Mercury does not go down your throat and i also wore a mask;

I had amazing results when my 13 amalgams were removed. For me, it was probably the currents they were creating. My eyes cleared, my anxiety went way down, my blood sugar seemed to level off and lots of other positives, mainly just a higher sense of well being.

I'm really excited to get them taken out, but a little afraid that the detoxing is not going to be fun. I guess the way I look at it is that it's just one less thing my body has to deal with. The dentist I will be seeing is a specialist in mercury removal. I haven't talked with him directly yet, but read his info on the website and it sounds like he takes the proper precautions. He is part of a wholistic medical group, so my hope is that between the mercury and the other nutritional practices they do, I will be feeling much better.

I saw different results each time. I took a lot of Vitamin C, high protein diet, selenium, magnesium, calcium and a multi. I also took some primal defense, some enzyme from a holistic Dr. and took a lot of hot baths with epsom salts.

Hum, Do you know that doing Clay packs on the face and the abdomen [well i put it all over], it helps to detox also and pull Mercury out-and then in Texas at the Wellness Ranch we got in large tubs with heated filtered ozonated water with herbs in the tub for 45 min; Perhaps you can greate your own tub with a mixture of things that will also assist you; Not everyone has a big detox period, but i have had several since they had been taken out and i could taste the metal and it would come out of different parts of the body, not just the head and jaw; I'm glad you are going to do it and don't worry about any detoxification it is worth it; The Board will help guide you through it if a problem comes up, it is so great that way;

Hi Terri-Lynn,

I have often wondered if clay packs are a risk since the body tends to draw IN rather than OUT when exposed to toxins on the surface...
If that were not true, how can you explain the way an estrogen or pain patch works?

What if there is mercury, nickel or some other toxin IN the clay?

Ron
