I'm early 30's, female. In February I finished having all my 20+-year-old amalgam fillings replaced (with plastic). It took about 2 months. I had about 12 of them. I haven't done anything special to help support or flush out my system during this process...
Anyone have any suggestions of what I could do, if anything?
____________
Since doing this I have been having some troubles that I hope are due to blowing the metals out of my mouth...
Early on I became sickly with cold sores and throat and sinus stuff. I completely lost my voice. It was like a bad head cold or something.
I now have iritis, which I had once before, ten years ago.
Just lately my urine is sometimes cloudy and has strong odor. (No other urinary symptoms).
I have suddenly become more angry, irritable, hostile then ever before. I'm not coping too well with adversity/stresses; I cried 3 times just this morning. I feel like crying now.
That's all I can think of now. Any advice out there?

I'm no expert but I've read a little on the subject. From what I've read, most people use a special dentist who takes special precautions to keep you from ingesting more mercury while they are taking them out...this includes a rubber dam and oxygen. After the removal, most people go thru chelation therapy. Hopes this helps. Wish I could afford to have this procedure done! I did ask my dentist here what he though of mercury fillings and their dangers and he opened his mouth and showed me all his mercury fillings LOL Guess that said how he felt on the subject!

EDTA chelation is something you should look into. Doing it myself. Insurance may pay if a blood test indicates high levels of mercury in your system. I have to pay out of pocket as I'm doing it for preventative reasons.

Chelation is excellent. It would definitely remove the metals. But, if you can't afford it, there is a new product called Nanoncalloidial Detox factors (NDF) which can remove metals from the blood and tissues when taken orally. I need to locate the info that I have so I can get you info. I will be back later with more.

PH, sorry about the problems. There is a post below "musty urine" and Dr. Stoll said it could be the detox happening.
Could you give more details about the procedure: who, how long, and how much?

I went to my homeopath's dentist.
He used the rubber dam; the whole procedure recommended to do this. But still, I don't think you can avoid ingesting/inhaling some of this stuff.
It was $100-something for a small filling and $290 for a large, what they call "buckle" filling. I have 2 or 3 large ones. So, my 12-ish fillings cost around $2400.
I did it in four appointments. Each time doing one quadrant. My appointments happen to be every other week.
Even if there turns out to be no health benefits -- it sure looks a lot better in there when you open your mouth. All WHITE -- no metal.

Thanks PH. Now I'll go count my fillings and then my bank account. Hope it improves your health and it will have been worth it.

Hi, PH.
It IS a good idea to do something. If I were you, I would contact the guru: Dr Hal Huggins, DMD's center at (800) 331-2303 for the closest professional to you who knows how to do this.
Let us know how you do & what you learn.

Hi, Barbara.
Your story gave me a good grin. It reminded me of something that happened while I was a child. Being born and raised on a farm in Ohio, I was exposed to the controversy, early on, about the dangers of DDT. My dad took me to a Grange Hall demonstration by the chemical company.
The rep from the company stood up on the highest step and drank a full glass of pure DDT. Then this idiot said: "See, even pure I did not die." This was in the late '40s. I wonder where he is now?
This is a dentist who has decided to just trust his national organization since thinking for himself is too much trouble.
Thanks for the grin.
Namaste`
