ADA's Code of Ethics
The American Dental Association's (ADA) code of ethics makes the removal of serviceable mercury amalgam restorations an issue of ethical conduct. In the ADA's point of view, it is ethical for a dentist to place mercury amalgam restorations in a patient and claim their safety. However, according to the ADA's code of ethics a dentist who acknowledges that mercury amalgam restorations are toxic and recommends their removal has acted unethically ("...the removal of amalgam restorations from the non-allergic patient for the alleged purpose of removing toxic substances from the body when such treatment is performed solely at the recommendation of the dentist is improper and unethical...." ADA Resolution 42H-1986. Transaction 1986:536) On the basis of the ADA's code of ethics, state dental boards have taken disciplinary action against mercury-free dentists who have practiced their profession in accordance with current scientific knowledge and their conscience. The disciplinary action has ranged from restrictions placed on their practice to the loss of license.

MAI, one skateboarding avenger of ADA trying to convince herself that defending establishment propaganda is the best way to be assimulated into the culture is not worth all the effort. Not everyone comes here with an open mind.

It's bad stuff. Everyone needs to be informed. Mercury is deadly, it's horrific, terrible and totally not necessary and it happened to me.

They are trying to convince one person who just doesn't believe what they are telling her. They have provided this person with enough data to sink a ship and shes still not convinced so why do they keep hammering away at this one individual? Repetition isn't going to make her change her mind. Its like a never ending high school debate team. Just doesn't make sense to me... but what do I know?

Who cares wher King is!
She only deliberatelly mislead many with semi intelligent posts.
The numbers games are good at tests in school not in real life.
In cases of poisoning numbers are immaterial for those who were injured.
Now we can have an open discussion with nno interference form people who are shooting crap.

The debate will only stop if we are strong enough as a mass power and convince the morons at FDA and ADA and AMA that mercury shall be banned and will be banned!
The goal is to save others from this sin.
We must convince all and unite to force a mandatory ban of this holocaust and get financial restitution for all victims.

If you are so interested in saving the world from mercury poisening hang up and actually go do something about it!
Actions speak louder than words!
In Reply to: You are not accomplishing that by debating with one person who is convinced its a non-problem... posted by not impressed on June 10, 2001 at 22:15:21:
I did a lot, and I am dooing.
You may not know about it, and may never find out.
Do you want to sponsor by cheaping few bucks for those who are fighting to permanently ban mercury amalgams?
There are many who could do more if they could afford.
