Hi Walt,
I talked to you earlier in the year about magnesium IV injections, and you gave me some great info. I thought I was ready to tackle my city doctor then....I managed to get as far as having him think about it... but life got in the way, and so I haven't had a chance to go back. However, I will be doing so in a few days.
He asked me to enquire about magnesium IV supplies at the pharmacy, which I did. In fact I went to a number of pharmacies and they only supply magnesium IV in the MAGNESIUM CHLORIDE form, not the Magnesium Sulfate form which you always talk about.
So is it OK to get the 2 grams of elemental magnesium per IV push from a MAGNESIUM CHLORIDE form. Thanks in advance for your response.

Hi, JoCee.
Actually I prefer the chloride form for IV injection. I prefer the sulphate form for IM. I am sorry fo the miscommunication about this. Thanks for bringing it to my attention.
Let us know how you do.
Walt
