Magnesium by Trace Minerals!

Posted by BB [542.1351] on April 29, 2006 at 01:42:10:

This stuff is GREAT! I finally tried it after being told by SHAPE that I had a Mg deficiency. This made sense because I brace all the time, and don't even know it half the time. Well after I mix it in some water, I feel better in about 2 seconds. No more tense neck!! I have so much tension there normally. Of course it wears off in a few hours. But I guess that means I am very deficient.

But anyway, just wanted to tell you folks to try it if you have malabsorption, cuz it works for me!

Shape or Walt,

What Trace Mineral magnesium product do you get? I'm always
looking for an easily absorbed magnesium product. And which
company is the best to order from as you can't order directly
from Trace Minerals?

Kay,

For the past couple of years or so I have used Nature's Plus "Trace-Mins".

Walt, is that something different from GOL's Perfect Food?

BB, is this the liquid ionic magnesium product in a dropper bottle that
you're using? Did you get it online or did you find it in a health food
store?

thanks,
mary

Yeah, Wants.

GOL is a product that has traces of lots more stuff than minerals.

Thanks Walt.

So does that mean that you take Nature's Plus trace-mins along with Perfect Food, your multi, omega-3's, and ester C? If so do you do that on a daily basis?

Yes, Wants.

However, after 2-3 years of taking the PF I have stopped it. I guess I feel my diabetes is failing so many organs, now, that I will not live long enough for it to make a difference.

I hope you don't mind my saying you've brought my first tears of the day. (There is still something better ahead.)

Thanks Walt.

First let me say how sorry I am that your diabetes is strengthening it's attack on your body. What an awful thing to have happen especially when you've devoted your life to the wellness of others.

As far as your supplement protocol now, it's Nature's Plus trace-mins, Multigenics multi, Now omega-3's, and ester-C?

So continuing with the PF wouldn't enhance the quality of life that you do have now?

Again, I'm sorry for your condition.

Thanks, Wants.

If I were 20 years younger, even with the diabetic progressive damage, I think I would still be taking the PF. It reaches a point where one must make choices about how much one can afford to spendif it is not going to make a significant short term benefit.

Your listing of my current supplements, for their pharmacalological effect, is correct.

Thanks Walt, that makes sense. If the PF isn't making a significant difference, then the money is better saved or spent on other things.

Hang in there!
