Am just wondering how many people here with arrhythmias have had success with this approach
Any feedback would be appreciated

I have seen remarkable improvement in my heart
related symptoms from the advice on this board,
including SR and magnesium supplementation. The
SR alone is the most helpful, and I'm sad to say it was
the last thing I tried! After starting the meditation the
arrhythmia's and pounding are down to a bare
minimum, and mostly noticeable during certain times
of month when my hormones are likely playing a hand
in it.

I haven't had a bad attack since December myself. Here's what all I changed and have learned: (I don't honestly know what helps the most but if you're like I was you'll be willing to do ALL of them)
Cut back on sugar and sugar containing products completely or at least dramatically. (I personally could not give them up 100% but I'm probably at 10-20% of what I once consumed)
Cut out ALL caffeine. Hardest one for me was Thai Iced Tea.. I LOVED the stuff. Trading Herb tea for regular tea was not tough. I really never drank soft drinks with caffeine too much so that wasn't a big deal either. My only caffeine intake is an occasional piece of chocolate.. like maybe one small piece per week on average.
Start the Magnesium... as much as your system can tolerate.
Whatever form of SR you like the best. I'd try them all just for fun to see what you like the best. Meditation is what currently works best for me which was not what I "pictured" myself liking.. So again, try them all.
The hardest obstacle to overcome is cutting off the attacks when you can feel them coming. For this I'd read and practice as many breathing techniques as you can. Find out which one works the best for you. Also, try taking a semi-deep breath and forcing air out very slowly. Sort of like trying to blow up one of those really small tight balloons. Or as some people recommend, try bearing down as if you're trying to have a bowl movement. This stuff really does work!
I've even cut my beta-blocker prescription down to 1/2 of what was prescribed. Which is pretty amazing considering they wanted to double it last time I talked to my cardiologist. Within another month or two I plan to completely cut them out. Only reason I have not yet is because I'd like to get an actual confirmation (via 24 hour holter) that things have improved... which I'm sure they have.
On a side note, I have also had all the mercury fillings removed from my mouth. I should mention that I was already on the road to recovery BEFORE starting this procedure by doing everything I described above. How much the fillings contributed to my arrythmia I have no real way to gauge since I have changed so many variables in addition to this... but if you have the fillings and the money to replace them it couldn't hurt. The inside of your mouth will look a lot better too. :)
The more I write, the more I realize that I'm leaving out.. geez I feel like I could just about write a book at this point. Anyway, look into whole foods... It really will make you feel a lot better which seems to help a ton. I'm not 100% who foods myself yet but I eat a LOT LESS processed food than I use to. It has made a big difference.
Go out and buy a heart rate monitor if you have not already. While doing your various SR tecniques it's a great way to gauge how well they are working for you. For example, it's not uncommon at all for my normal resting heartrate to be around 85 to 95. (me just sitting in a chair at the computer, or on the couch watching TV) I'll then do SR for as little as 3 to 5 minutes and get my rate down to the 60's. I'm not saying to stop after 3 to 5 minutes.. it's just that this is how soon I have noticed results.

Mine has almost all disappeared every now and then I will be busy and one will hit me. Magnesium and SR started helping me right away. About five days after I started I felt better. I had a friend come by I had not seen her in a month, and she asked me what I was doing because I looked so much better and I told her what I was doing. I can never thank you enough for all your wisdom doctor Stoll I pray that everything is well with you. I appriciate you and this board very much.

Cutting out caffeine does help. Years ago I was a coffee junkie, and no wonder my arrythmias were the worst at that time. Since I cut out caffeine, I rarely have problems of this sort unless I'm anxious. SR and breathing techniques have helped also and are the most important part of a wellness plan.
