New Thread on Raw Milk - Dr Stoll

Posted by Maz on September 22, 2003 at 03:52:29:

Hi Walt,

Many thanks for your comments on my previous post on this subject. I was fascinated by your knowledge on how milk is produced and what can go wrong etc, also that milk is sterile (as is urine). It all makes sense when you explain things.

Anyway,

Since that post, I have found an organic farm in Wales (I live in Essex, England) who can supply raw milk, butter and cream by mail order.

I can't believe my luck as I already buy organic beef (grass fed), lamb, chicken, pork etc. from another organic farm in the UK.

Obviously, the raw dairy produce will need to be frozen as I intend to buy in bulk and order every couple of months or so.

My question is will freezing harm the produce in any way ie. reduce nutrients, affect natural fats etc. etc.

Thanks for your help.

Regards,
Maz

Congratulations, Maz!

So far as I know, freezing does not harm the milk but, like anything that is frozen, it's life is still not infinite.

Walt
