Dr. Stoll is correct about MVP!

Posted by Jon on May 07, 2002 at 07:56:04:

Long story short, about 15 years ago I was going through a stressfull time in college and was experiencing chest pains and anxiety. I went to the doc and they did all the tests including an eco-cardiogram to look for MVP. The eco showed a "slight" MVP. So off and on for the next several years I experienced almost every symptom in the book associated with MVP. A couple of weeks ago my doc wanted me to have another eco (1st one since being diagnosed)he said that the new technoligy was much better and they could have a better look at it to see if it was any worse. I got the results and it showed NO MVP AT ALL! So, how could I experience all the symptoms of chest pain heart palpitations ect. if I don't have a MVP? Just like Dr. Stoll has been saying all along. Thanks Dr. Stoll for this site!

Thanks, Jon.

Hopefully the days of this unfortunate FAD are numbered.

The conventional medical community should be ashamed! This "diagnosis" served ONLY the physician.

Namaste`

the new technology has changed soooo many things. MVP is not diagnosed as often as it used to be and some that were diagnosed never really had a MVP.Lts of symptoms of stress can be traced to somthing as simple as poor diet, too much caffeine, not enough rest, all of which can cause irregular heart beats, chest pain, muscle tension in the jaws, neck, and chest.......The fact is: No one really dies from MVP, you just feel like it and it scares you . Once my Doc told me this, I relaxed considerably and started to feel better. I wa diagnosed 25 yrs ago and the new techniques show I have no prolaps at all, and I do ecohs for a living...
