MVP

Dr. Stoll, with the greatest respect (which I hold for you, your BB and your book and the wonderful work that you have done), I would like to make a comment about MVP that I believe may have been overlooked. While I do understand that the symptoms associated with MVP have other causes, I feel it is important to not underplay the inherent dangers of MVP itself. Sharon Anderson (MVP: Benign Syndrome) offers that undiagnosed endocarditis is the cause for the majority of heart attacks and strokes. I think it is important for us MVP'ers to understand that we are at risk and to take proper precautions before undergoing dental work, etc. BTW If the Candida is cleared up, would this danger be gone? Thanks, Lorena

Thanks, Lorena.

In MY opinion, the AMA types have invested so much in this faddish diagnosis that it will be at least 20 years before no one will hear of it again. That is because most physicians are at least 20 years behind the times. Just because MVP is a non-diagnosis does not mean that there are not many valid cardiac diagnoses. There are entire textbooks that list them.

I just say that MVP is NOT a valid diagnosis!

Time will tell. I will accept the judgement of history.

Namaste`

Walt

May I suggest that anyone who has MVP or who is interested in this condition read Sharon Anderson's book: "Mitral Valve Prolapse: Benign Syndrome?"

Thanks, Lorena.

In MY opinion, NO ONE has MVP as it is defined.

Well, Dr. Stoll, could you explain then what we should call the condition of the misshapen heart valve? This interests me very much as I have had the echocariagram and been diagnosed with MVP with regurgitation in the 1st degree. I have been told by two other doctors that they detected a murmur. With another doctor I am currently under treatment for adrenal burnout which consists of weekly IVs and magnesium, Vitamin B and adenosine shots. I want to get rid of my Candida as you say, as soon is this treatment is working and I can get my mercury amalgams removed. Thanks and again my sincere respects for all that you have done and are continuing to do for all of us who don't fit neatly into "conventional" medicine's neat little spots.

Hi, Lorena.

A "mishapen" mitral valve is, by definition, not MVP.

Hope this helps.

Walt
