Walt or anyone that can help:
I was told that I had MVP after going to the hospital earlier this year with mild chest pain. They did an ECG which was abnormal. However, nothing more showed up on the Echo or thallium stress test, besides the MVP (mild, with no regurg). The Card. said a person can have an abnormal ECG, yet still have a healthy heart. Can someone please explain this to me? My Card. was quick to diagnose MVP and push me out of his office. Thanks!

Hi, Tanya.
The cardiologist was eager to get you out of his office because even the most obtuse physician is now beginning to see that I have been right all these years about MVP being an iatorgenic condition that is not a cardiac problem at all. Eventually the entire profession will admit to this but right now they are too embarrassed to do so!
If you will read everything on the home page, glossary and archives about MVP, you will begin to understand what has really been causing your symptoms.
Let us know what you learn.
Walt
