Help. How to heal facial cut?

This may sound pretty basic, but.....

While shaving over a month ago, I cut myself shaving. Just a small one. However, I didn't take proper care of it, and I kept "re-injuring" the cut when shaving.

Six weeks later, it formed into a very noticable bump almost at the corner of my mouth, and is unsightly. Looks like a large pimple or pale mole. It was almost completely healed though as I went on vacation and didn't shave for a week.

Shaving this morning, not paying attention, I cut the bump badly enough to almost remove it. OUch! What the heck, another swipe and the "bump" was gone. Bled like a pig.

Now, "starting fresh" with a flush and fresh wound, I guess you could say, how do I care for this so I don't get another scar tissue bump? I used peroxide soaked paper towel to stem the bleeding, dressed with a dab of first aid ointment, and put a bandage on.

I wouldn't be so concerned, but it's right on my face at the corner of my mouth, and looked pretty bad the way it healed last time.

Hi, I know that not being a man women don't get the same pimples or cuts through shaving on our face. But I find what works very well with most problems on the face is if you dab some Tea Tree oil....neat. Just keep dabbing on the area for a few days and it should really help, without leaving a scar.

Hi, Danr.

Sounds to me like you are well on your way to a permanent keloid. Look it up. You do not want THAT to happen.

IF Eleni's suggestion does not work you had better get an electric razor quick and keep your fingers crossed.
