I have been having recurring boils since june 2001. They started on my arms-so bad that I couldnt put my arms down. In november 2001--i had a total of 53 boils on my buttocks, legs and vaginal area. The doctor said it was a staph infection, gave me antibotics which helped a little but they eventually came back. Tried different antibotics-some didnt work. Was later told it was a skin eating disease. I've seen an infectious disease doctor-same thing-staph infection. Now I've been referred to a dermatologist. Noboy seems to know why I keep having boils. I'm not a diabetic-had the test.. although I stay constipated. Could it be the autotoxifcation thing??? please advise. dont know where to turn next...

Please describe your typical daily menu. Include water consumption too.
Whether constipation is the cause of your boils or not, it needs to be dealt with. At least add large amounts of lacto-fermented foods if you don't eat them already. For a good starting point to learn about lacto-fermented foods, go to http://www.westonaprice.org/foodfeatures/lacto.html and http://www.healingcrow.com/ferfun/ferfun.html.
Also, read http://www.lifebalm.com/newsletter/vol1_2.html and http://www.lifebalm.com/newsletter/vol5_12.html
When you apply all this, remember to come back to share your results.

yes, in naturapathy this is seen as a toxicity problem. in addition to cleaning up your diet you need to build your immune system so it can fight the staph infection. start applying the 3 legs of the wellness stool right away and you can also look into immune building herbs like astralgus (safe to stay on long term), and the asian mushrooms maitake and shitake (sp?). burdock is an excellent herb for cleaning the blood. you should definitely do a serious cleansing diet with lots of raw fruits and veggies. i'd avoid sugar, dairy, and all refined foods from now on. look into using stevia as a sweetener instead of sugar. lots of onions, garlic, ginger, and cayenne in the diet is also very cleansing. good luck.

Hi, Angela.
The "skin eating bacteria is a strep, not a staph.
Boils are universally caused by a staph. Am I understanding you right tht this started under your arms? If so, were you using antiperspirants?
In my opinion, from what you have said here, you need to listen to Jennifer & R.
Serious wellness is your only hope and you need to get it started ASAP.
Let us know how you are doing in about a year.
