Remember me? The gal with Protein C Deficiency who refuses to die? I have developed necrosis of the skin and am now taing 2 self administered heparin(low molecular "fraxiparin) shots daily to ease the symptoms. Help??? Zarin

As you know, necrosis is caused by a lack of circulation and the heparin works by avoiding some of the very small clots formed in everyone's system every hour. However, this is but a temporary stopgap as you must know. What next?
To answer your question, if I can, I would need to know a LOT more about you. Look at the Health Coaching link and read the kind of information (and its form) that I would need to begin to know if I can help. Put it on the bb & title it something like "Skin Necrosis" so others with similar problems will more easily find it.
If you are not willing to share EVERYTHING about yourself with the public, I offer this service privately but, since it does not serve MY primary goals of getting information out to the public, I charge for that. If I don't know everything, the chances of my missing the very thing you need are significantly increased.

The only reason I offer the Health Coaching Service is for those people who do not want to share their entire health history publically. Since MY goal is public education, I do those sessions free. The reason I referred you to the HC link was so I did not have to type out all the instructions again.
If YOU want to do this privately, I do charge for that since MY goal of public education cannot be served that way.
You could contact me at my home, in lieu of the (800) number. The best time to catch me at home is in the afternoon (2-6 PM central daylight time USA). Call me at (850) 747-8669. That is the number we would have to use for the final consultation too.

Thank you for your post. Yes, I do realise that Heparin is only a temporary measure to combat the ill effects of wafarin, but I REALLY don't know what I can do.
I was unable to locate ALA at any of the healthstores or pharmacies here in Malaysia, I guess I shall call on Mary's good offices to help me out.
I do not have acquired Protein C Deficiency, I have inherent Protein C Deficiency(to use a more accurate description for the commonly used "genetic" ....)
I am uncertain about what exactly you need to know about me, but I shall go into the Health Coaching Link and see what I can do.
My idea of being on your Board is to let people know that such diseases do exist and that no matter what anyone says I shall continue to try and find an alternative to poisoning my system with wafarin.
