MS & Epstein Barr

Posted by Lisa on September 02, 2003 at 09:58:40:

Hi
I am 42 & about 18 months ago I was sick for 3 months with symptoms such as fatigue, dizziness, tingling, eye movement problems, slight slurred speach & my foot would slap to the ground when I walked. I was tested for inner ear infections, hearing & balance, every blood test they could think of, had MRI of head & a 2nd one of spine. My family Dr. & the Ear, nose & throat Dr. suspected MS. They sent me to a neurologist. Every test came back negative so the neurologist said I didn't have MS. The final blood test was positive for Epstein Barr. By that time almost all symptoms were gone & my Dr. said it was only positive because I had mono as a teen. I chose not to follow up with the neurologist. I've recently read there may be a connection with EBV & MS. The fatigue stayed with me for months until I started exercising 4 times a week & lost 20 pounds. Now I feel pretty good but still have occasional tingling & numbness, dizziness & bouts of fatigue. I can't get the possibility of MS out of my mind. I have 2 cousins with it. I can't tell if I'm obsessed with the thought of it or if I should follow up on every little tingle & tired feeling that I get. Any suggestions?

The most accurate test for detecting a diseased (not congested) Gallbladder is a “Hide-A Scan”. Gallstones will not be detected on an x-ray or ultra-sound scan, until they are the size of a golf ball.

Old Sage doctors believed that when a patient was seriously sick, regardless if they were experiencing signs of cancer, heart disease, an autoimmune disease, etc., that the “Root Cause” was a congested or blocked Liver and Gallbladder, which occurred three to five years before the onset of their illness. By performing a simple Liver/Gallbladder flush, until all the stones are eliminated, this health problem can be reversed! * S.H.A.P.E. *

Hi, Lisa,

Let us know how you do with SHAPE's suggestion.

Statistically, the vast majority of people with this complex of symptoms are hypersensitive to environmental chemicals. You need a consult with a good Clinical Ecologist ASAP! Be sure to have all of your medical records in your hand when you see her. See the MCS (multiple chemical sensitivity) archives for how to find one in your area.

The EBV has nothing to do with it!

Let us know what you learn and how you do.

Walt
